Alexander van Randwijck graduated in 1992 from the Leiden University (Dutch law). He worked in the maritime law practice of a major international law firm between 1992 and mid-1995 and in business law whilst working for the same firm. He managed a considerable litigation practice as well as an intensive advisory practice. Following his lawyer’s qualification in 1995, Alexander worked for an international insurance broker. He added unique experience in the area of (professional) liability law to his existing broad knowledge of law.
Since he joined Van Randwijck Advocaten in September 1999, he has represented both major insurers and professionals in liability cases. Cases have involved estate agents, insurance brokers as well as lawyers. Alexander is also active in the areas related to real estate transactions, for example issues of hidden faults (non-conformity), neighbour disputes, limitation (period), purchase, NVM contracts (Dutch Association of Estate Agent contracts) and zoning plans.
Alexander co-founded Van Randwijck Advocaten.
